Technical Lecture 10 October 2019 – Digital Twin Technology

Solent University recently opened their new Ship Simulation Suite. This has a range of facilities, including bridge simulators, an engine control room simulator, an onshore and offshore crane simulator and liquid cargo operations simulators.This lecture will cover the use for training seafarers and also the virtual shipyard technology, allowing the simulation and analysis of ships at the design stage.
